The ARMs and plain old poor financial choices that have faulted many Americans in our country’s current “gotta have it now” state, have not just hurt the average working American, but also multi-millionaire celebrities as well. Jose Canseco, Ed McMahon, Evander Holyfield, Michael Jackson & Courtney Love have all foreclosed on homes with mortgage balances up to $24.5 million. Take a look at the homes and read the stories in their entirety @ http://money.cnn.com/galleries/2008/real_estate/0806/gallery.celebrity_foreclosures/index.html.

Gone With The Wind, & Getting Paid For It June 17, 2008

When discussing “Going Green”, most of us are familiar with alternative energy sources such as solar and electric. But what about wind? The truth is that individuals can easily understand solar and electricity, and how they can actually use the two in their daily lives to conserve energy and be less dependent on oil because these two sources of renewable energy are always in the mainstream. But wind energy is another animal all together for most. Most people, when they think of wind energy, they picture hundreds of gigantic windmills together alone in the desert of Nevada, Arizona or California that are ran by major corporations and government to supply energy to entire cities. I am here to tell you that you too can support and use wind energy on a much small scale, and that is more beneficial to you and your pocket. Skystream has developed the Skystream 3.7 wind generator that connects directly to your home and generates power whenever the wind is blowing.
The Skystream stands between 34 & 70 feet tall & is 170 pounds. It comes with a 5 year warranty and is certified fo usage in the U.S. & Canada.
THE BEST PART:
This is especially helpful in our current times of a down economy when all of us are trying to save as much as we can and cut back where needed. During times of high winds, the Skysteam can produce excess energy that you home does not need. In this case, depending on your utility, your meter can spin backward and give you a energy credit toward your next bill. Check your local utility companies, because in some areas, when you generate extra power, you can then sell it back to your local power company and earn some extra income. You can even earn possible rebates & tax incentives for using wind energy.
Let’s all BE ALTERNATIVE and save energy, the planet and our pockets. Because every, watt & every dollar counts.

Tell me fans, what has happened to Real Estate Guru, Richard Davis & his Trademark Properties Team? For those of you whom don’t know, Richard Davis is the founder of the successful full-service real estate firm dubbed Trademark Properties based out of Charleston, SC. Mr Davis developed the popular television series on TLC called Flip That House, and later created a new show called The Real Estate Pros. Those of us whom are fans know that Richard & his talented team including Ginger, are knowledgeable and in my opinion, brought house flipping to the mainstream with their first TV show. Flip that house has since changed a great deal. We have seen a team from Boston made up of an ex-male model and NFL football player, a total of three different Atlanta, Ga based teams, and probably the next most successful team under Richard Davis in Armando Montelongo, which has also broken up since it first aired. But that is another story.
We have been watching re-runs for far too long. What has happend to the new episodes? If anyone has any info on where us FLIP FANS can get our daily fix of Richard Davis & the Real Estate Pros, including any airing times or TV channels, please let us all know.

Paint your House “GREEN” & your life @ Bidrealm.NET June 10, 2008

“Going Green” is the “IN” thing right now, as it should be. We as human beings, and especially as Americans, have consistently contributed to let’s face it, destroying our planet. Between Factory smoke stacks, gas guzzling automobiles and litter, we are killing ourselves by emitting harmful gasses into the atmosphere and using all of our natural resources.
On a side note, this is something that has been burning me up for the last couple of months, and there is no reason for it. Here in Raleigh, NC where I live, and where our company Bidrealm.NET Inc. (www.bidrealm.net), is located, I live in a neighborhood that is a massive subdivision with thousands of homes and subsequently very small yards. Here in Raleigh, we had been on a water restriction due to shortage of rain along with mass water consumption for a while, and it was just lifted recently. But, there are still the few geniuses in my neighborhood who insist on watering their 2X2 lawns, with an automatic sprinkler that stays on all the time and basically waters the street. In 102 degree heat mind you. News flash people, the street does not grow. You are wasting water for no good reason.
SOLUTION
Simply put, GO GREEN. This means:
1. Don’t waste water
2. Don’t drive unnecessarily
3. Recycle
4. Reuse
5. Use energy efficient (http://www.energystar.gov/) appliances in your home
6. Use energy efficient light bulbs
7. Carpool or purchase a hybrid automobile
8. & MUCH MUCH MORE
For more information on what you can do to help save our planet and the lives of our children’s children, go to http://planetgreen.discovery.com/. Planet Green by. the Discovery Channel is a website and TV station developed to help us learn about how to stay GREEN. At Planet Green’s website you can see how to stay GREEN in your everyday life with everything from fashion and beauty, food and health, to travel, work, and home and garden. Visit there website, and check your cable or satellite provider for their television show listings. Get informed and inform others on how we can be more planet conscious.
