As I mentioned to you in part 1 of this series, my wife has taken the bull by the horn and is making home improvements in our house left and right, and her favorite thing is her drill.  With a good cordless power drill, you can just about fix or improve anything, with the right attachment.  Barbara K @ www.barbarak.com, has developed a website that specializes in TOOLS FOR WOMEN.  You can view information in the latest hammers, wrenches, pliers, glue guns, power tools and other tools.  Currently Barbara K has posted directions on how to install an attic fan.  Between me and you, I hope she posts a “How To” on installing a ceiling fan, because I have a new one in the box that has been sitting around for a year waiting to get installed.  Of course at this point we all know that my wife will no doubt get that going before long.  My wife is an attorney who loves to do home improvement projects.  She works hard at the court all day, and then handles business at home too.  She is the new Handywoman.  So too all you men out there, give your Handywoman her credit where credit is due.  Not only does she know more and do more than you think, she may also know more and do more than you.  Step your game up.  Bidrealm.NET is here to help with that.  No matter what your home improvement familiarity is, from novice to expert, register for FREE at www.bidrealm.net, and let a certified, bonified pro compete for your business.  Let go of the hassle so that you can focus on the rest of your life’s many decisions.  @ Barbara K’s website, be sure to checkout the “How to project of the week”.  In addition, look at industry related books and news, & even join the gift registry.  So, for the Handywoman bride to be of 2008, don’t settle for just the typical wedding registry @ Bed Bath & Beyond, Target to Belk, add www.barbarak.com too.

There has been a recent surge by companies such as Home Depot, Lowes and others, that usually cater to men that are now realizing that women not only drive the majority of purchases and decisions in the household, but also enjoy home improvement just has much as their male counterparts.  And as these companies are finally taking heed, my suggestion to the fellas is, don’t sleep on the women.  My wife and I purchased a home 1 year ago and she wanted to install shelving and new mini blinds.  As most of us men do, I procrastinated and procrastinated, and one day I had come home from work and my wife, the strong outgoing women that she is, had purchased a drill and installed the shelving and blinds herself.  I thought to myself, maybe I should have taken some advice from Home Depot & Lowes.  The bottom line is, men, don’t be too proud, your woman can handle it.  And in most cases, it may be better that she does.  That way your next home improvement project will definately get done on time.  Checkout our “Dont let this happen to you…(Part 1)” video post from May 17th 2008.  If you turn out looking like any of the folks in this video, you need some help.  As I have said to you before, men and women, when your expertise will not allow you to perform your project the way it should be done, or if you are just a procrastinator like me, don’t hesitate to call on Bidrealm.NET.  Register for FREE online at www.bidrealm.net, and leave it to the professionals.  Let them compete for your business so that you get the best choice at the best price on your next home improvment project.
